Funeral Of Mrs. A. R. Peterson
The funeral services of the late Mrs. A. R. Peterson were held at the honse Monday afternoon at 2 :30 o'clock and â– were conducted by Rev. B. L. McEIroy, pastor of the First M. E. church, of whioh the deceased lady was a devoted member. The honse was filled with sympathizing neighbors and friends of the family among whom were a large number of the members of Ann Arbor Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, of whioh body Mrs. Peterson was an ardent and muob respected member. At the grave the services were conducted according to the beautiful ritual of the order in a most feeling and impressive tuanner by the officers. It was the flrst public funeral that the chapter had been called npon to offioiate at and Mrs. Peterson was the third member of the chapter tha6 has passed away sinoe it was institued. A wealth of flowers were spread over the casket and aronnd the gcave whioh more resembled a bed of flowers than the cold damp earth. It was a beantiful tribcte to the memory of a much beloved and highly respeoted lady.
