The child Sarah, was reared in a theatrical atmosphere, aud at 10 she was playing Ariel. As she grew np she became very beautiful and had many admirers, among whom was Henry Siddons, a youug actor iu her father's company, who had little difficulty iu winning the girl's heart; Mr. aud Mrs. Kemble had made up their ruiuds that Sarah should iiot marry in the professiou, in consequence of which they strenuously opposed the marriage, aud youug Siddons, in a fit of retaliatory humor, composed a song detailing their opposition aud. his trials, which brought about his speedy dismissal frorn the corupany.
