Ice cream and cake or coffee and cake will be served, the price of either being 10 cents. The farmers' picnic at Whitmore Lake tomorrow will draw to that pleasant place not only a large crowd of the farmers of the fuur counties bot lots of townspeople as well. The train I on the Ann Arbor road leaves here at 8:43 a. m. Fare for the ronnd trip 35 cents. Preparations have been made for a good time and there is no doubt bnt those who attend will have it. Dr. Cbester B. Bliss aDd Miss Henrietta M. Ittner were qnietly married in tbe Unitarian ehurch at 7 o'closk on Wednesday morning of last week, by Eev. J. T. Snnderland. Oaly the relatives and immediate friends of the parties were present. After the ceremony a simple wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's rnotner No. 31 S. Thayer st., and the young conple left for their new home in Springfield, Ohio, where Dr. Bliss, who graduated from tbe üniversity of Michigan last year and was Dr. Carrow's assistant for some time, is in partnership with bis father, Dr. Bliss.
