Ruth Dexter is quite ill with soarlet fever. Th6re are several hay fever victime in Milán. Mrs. Er Palmer is entertaining gneets from Ohio. Miss Clandia Yonngs is visiting friends in Alma. The Milán high school opens the second week in September. Miss K. Lauib left the last of the week for her home in Blissfield. Clarence Wisdon, of Dushville, is visiting his parents for a few weeks. Miss Gecil Gauntlett and Miss Inez Butler are visiting in Detroit this week. Mr. and Mrs. D. Case leave for California in a few days to make an extended visit. Mrs. Hoyt and Mrs. H. Sill and children returned Tuesday morning from a six weeks' visit in the state of New York. Mrs. Laureuce opened her kindergarten sohool at Mrs. Easterly's residence on W. Main st., with 17 scholars, Wednesday morning. L. Burnham and Mr. and Mrs. W. Robison have been in Buffalo, N. Y., participating in the pleasures of the G. A. R. encampment.
