A gatheriu? of the "Reliables" of Webster and surrounding country was beid at tbe home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm, Scadin on Saturday. By some, the Eorenoou was termed a ' "pioneer gathering." Oíd time stories were related and some amnsiug inuidents were to!d ooncetning the life work of those wbose resting places were marked by the marble and granittj iu plaiu sight of the meeting piace. The afteruoon sessioa was purely an agricnltural oae. Clyde DeWitt and Will Scadin opeued the session with instrumental inusic with Viola Pierce at the organ. E. A. Nordman gave a recipe for preventiou of smnt in wheat, wbich is "oue pound of blue vitriol dissolved iu boiling water, add, when cool eno-igh, water to make five gailons of liqnid, apply with spriukler to seven bnshels of wheat, spread thinly on the floor nd freely tnrued with a shovel." Isaac Terry, Wm. Latson, Geo. W. Merrill, Cyrus M. Starks, Henry Qneal, Geo. Wiiig, Lewis Chamberlain and lots of others kept up a lively discnssiou on various farra topios. The next meeHng will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. Wing on the first Saturday in October. "Practical Edncation, by A. D. DeWitt, will be cousidered.
