Frank Vinkle, a Western Udíod msssenger boy, had a narrow escape frora serious injnry and possible death Friöay afternoon. He was riding along Main st. on his bicyole. A Street car was coming towards him on the other side of which was a horse and wagon. It crossed the street car track behind the oar, and the bike and the horse came into collision. Young Vinkle feil under the horse's feet and was trodden on twice, besides which both wagon wheels ran over him. Beyond an injured hand and a few bruises the young fellow escaped all right and his bioycle was equally fortúnate only the bandle bar being broken and twisted. Dr. Belser dressed the injured hand.
