Rockford, Hls., Sept. 14.- The Bank of Durand made an assignment Tuesday in the county court, Joel B. Whitehead oL Rockford being named as assignee. No statement of assets or liabilities has been filed. Geary & Christman, Durand hardware dealers, who were nipped by the failure, also assigned, Scott Mon'tieth befng appointed assignee.
