Those who attended the annual day of sports at Chelsea last year bave not forgotten the good time they then had, and will learn with satisfaotion that repetition of the event is to be given this year. It will take plaoe Saturday Sept. 25, commencing at 1 o'olook p m. and the admission fee has been placed at the popular price of 15 cents chidren uuder 10 year anrl teams f ree The program is announced as follows : Horse Races - Three minute trot or pace, best 3 d 5, half-mile heats pnrse $16- lst $8, 2nd $5, 3rd 13. 2 :35 trot or paoe, best 3 in 5, half rnile heats purse $20- lst $10, 2nd $6, 3rd $4. Free-for-all trot or pace, bestj3 iu 5, half-nnle heats, pnrse $30 - lst $15, 2nd $9, 3rd $6. Entrance fee for all above races will be '$1. Running raoe, purse $6- lst $3, 2nd $2, 3rd $1. Entrance fee 50 cents. Bicycle Races - One mile dash, purse $6- lst $3, 2nd 2, 3rd $1. Winners of thisrace are not eligible to half inile race. Half-rnile raoe, best 2 in 3, pnrse $5- lst $2.50, 2nd $1.50, 3rd f 1. Half-rnile dash for boys under 16 years, purse $2- lst $1, 2nd 60c, 3rd 40c. Foot Haces- Half-mile dash, pnrse $5 - lst $2.50, 2nd $1.50, 3rd $1. Three to enter. 100 yard dash, pnrse $2- lst $1, 2nd 60c, 3rd 40c. s Ball Game- Pinckney vs. Chelsea for a purse of $25- Winning clubj$15, losing club 10. Game called at 3 p. m. To close with a grand balloon race.
