The Detroit M. E. conference has changed the name of the Adrián distriot to Arm Arbor district and Eev. E. W. Ryan, the Ypsilanti minister, who has become well known for his plain speaking, has been appointed presiding eider of tbe district. Rev. B L. MoElroy bas been returned to this cityand has been made chairman of the standing committee on edncation. The other appointees for this coanty and near vicinity are as follows : Chelsea, John J.
