About 100 liquor dealers frotn ail over the state njet at Arbeiter hall, Ypsilanti, Tuesday afternoon, and nrgauized the Miohigan Liqnor Healers' League. OfHcers were elected as follows: President, John Mobn, of Detroit; vioe president, George Letter, of Ypsilanti; secretary, Frank Charlet, of Detroit; treasnrer, Albert Vogel, of Ludington ; board af trustees, John Terns, of Ypsilanti, Cari Schnuider, of Detroit, Albert Stegmeyer, of Detroit. The next place of meeting wil! be at Ludington ou the third Tuesday in August, 1898. The objeot of the assooiatiou is pro teotion pure and simple. Tbe primary objeot, bowever, is to oppose the movemeuts of the Anti-SalooD League, which is ruaking such a push in the state against the liquor interests. All the objecfcionable features of the old as socciation bave been eliminated. There will be no iusurance.
