The annual meeting of the AntiTrarup Society was held in the council cbamber Priday evening, but the slirn attendauce of only seven meinbers waa euongh to dishearteu the most enthusiastic of workers aloDg this liue. The president, Rev. J, W. Bradshaw read bis annual report, which will be publisbed in looal papers at an early date. Treasurer. C. E. H'isoook read bis report, wbcb snmmarized it as follows: JReceipt8 - Balance from last year, $14.70; does, 1; frota oity for labor, $80.95; total, $96.66. Expenditures- Supplies, $4.10; 87 lodgings, $13.05; 310 meƔis, $77.50; balance on band, $2. Kev. ,T. W. Bradshaw was reelected president, Prof. C. H. Cooley secretary, and Mayor C. E. Hiscook treasurer. The work laid out will be continued aloug the same lines which have proven so suooessful in the past two years. It is greatly desired that onr oitizens take .more interest in the plan whicb has done so muoh to free our city of the tramp nuisance.
