Chicago, Oct. 5. - As the result of the interferenceof the pólice in their planned elcpemer.t, Norman Hunt and Ella Campbell are spending the hours that were to have beer. part of their honeymoon in cells at the Harrison Street police station. The couple left the homes of their parents in Víctor, Ia., Monday evening, drove sixteen miles to Marengo and took a midnight train fcr Chicago on thtir way to Milwaukee, only to be stopped by Officers Martin and Moran at the Rock Island depot Tuesday -morning. The officers took them ir.fo custody in compilan ce with telegraphie instructions receivtd from Víctor five minutes before the arrival of the train. The prospective bridegroom was locked up in a witness cell at the Armory and the bride to be was turned over to the custody of Matron Heelan of the annex. Both Hunt and Miss Campbell are members of prominent families. Hunt is an engir.eer. The girl is little more than a schoolgirl, but both ?ay they will marry in spite of the opposition of their parer.ts, the pólice and possible injunction writs.
