Chicago, Oct. 12.- The sixty employeá of the Illinois Steel company who make their home? in the long two-story frame "World's fair hotel at 9916 Avenue N.now condueted by A. Weeeel as a boarding house, were driver. from their homes Tuesday morning at 1 o'clock by a fit e -w-hich swept the entire length of the building and destroyed it. Several pereons were overeóme by heat and sraoke and had to be carried from their rooms by firemen, but no orae was seriously injured.
