Chicago, Ot. 26.- Ex-Oongressman I Charles W. Woodman was found to be [ lnsane by a jury in Judge Carter's court and was comniitted to the asylum at Elgin. The ex-eongressman was aecompanied by John M. Hamilton and J. H. Johnson. h.ts brothers-in-law, and by Mrs. Woodman and several friends. The ex-congressman appeared to be conscious of the fact that his sanity waa being inquired into, and when Judge -Carter asked hlm the question he said he was willing: to go to an asylum for treatment.
