One of those pleasant Masonio gatherings for which Aun Arbor is jnstly oelebrated took place Thursday evening of last week when Golden Rule Lodge, No. 159, made Master Masons of Fellowcrafts Robert E. Wrlson, George M. Shelrnire and J. C. Henderson, and followed np the work with a bountiful spread aud speeobes. From tbe Ypsilanti lodges tbere vere present the following: Phoenix Lodge, No. 113, Worshipfnl Master W. 8. Carpenter and Brothers A. C. Fingeile, J. D. Lawrence. Earl Haner, A. L. Lamb, W. B. Eddy, L. M. Spenoer, H. C. Gordon, Eugene Edsou and WilJiarn Meanwell; Ypsilanti Lodge, No. 128, Worshipful Master Charles Stevens and Brothers .T. E. McGregor, George Wilsod and L. M. James. And besides these tbere were others. Tbe only regret on the part of the visitors was that they bad to horry away before they had digested their sappers, but W, S. Carpenter, master of Phoenix Lodge was left behind to look after tbeir interests. When tbe brotbers had eaten their fill cigars were passed aronnd and W. W. Watts was called to the toastmaster's ohair. Speeches were made by W. S. Carpenter, of Ypsilanti, Jndge H. Wirt Newkirk, Mr. Kauffman, Mr. MoDonald, Jnnins E. Beal, Gaorge P. MoCollnm, R. E. Wilson, I. N. Kinney, H. G. Prettyman, Dr. C. G. Darling and L. C. Goodrich. The banqueters did not separate nu'l near mitinight.
