The next grange meeting will be held at George Boynton's, Tbnrsday, Nor. 11. Mr. and Mrs. Vai Vleet, frorn New York, are visitiug Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Freer. Miss Florenoe Hammond was verv agreeably snrprised Wednesday afternoon of last week, when several of her friends walked in to help celébrate her birthday. E. A. Nordman, T. Morse, Mr. and Mrs. George Steinbaoh, Bd. Parker, Fred Staebler, Arl Gnerin, the Misses Estella Guerin, Rosa Newman and Edith Stabler were in Ann Arbor Saturday. Is marriage a failure? It is evident that Mr. Rnssell Wheelook aud Miss Ora Perry don't think so, as they are to beoome one Wednesday noon, at the home of the bride's parents. Rev. M"r. Niokerson will perform the ceieinony. The Epworth League will give a "Character Sooial" at the town hall, Friday evening, Nov. 26. They will have a New England supper. Some of the oharacters to be represnted are George and Martha Washington, Abraham Lincoln and wife, President and Mrs. McKinley, Grover Cleveland, Josiah and Saruantha Allen, Unole Sam, Teonmseh, a sqnaw, Nngro, Chinaman, etc. An oíd sypsy fortune teller will be present to teil yon what the future will bring forth.
