Muddy Roads In Colorado

Denver, Nov. 2.- The weather vv-ag clear and cool, but the roads are so muddy in the city as'well as in the country, on account of the heavy snowstorms one week ago, that many voters did not take the trouble to go ta the polls. The small groups at the various polling places in this city when the polls opened at 7 o'clock in the morning were in marked contrast to the crowds in line last year, and there is no doubt the vote will be much smaller than that of 1896.
