The attraotion at the Athens Theater tonight will be De Wolff's " Unole Tom's Oabin" cornpany. The original Mise Kate Partington, unquestionably tbe best "Topsy" known to the American stage, is with the De Wolff cornpany. rwo brass bands, white and colored, and a troupe of jubilee singers are speoial features. The transformaron scène of 15 minutes duration oomprises 'Eva in Heaven!" commenoing with 'The Bower of Rcses," "The Bower of Butterflies," "Recording Angel," "The Cobweb Grotto," "The SilverLined Cloud Drop," "Tbe Bower Elysium." Tomorrow afternoon a matinee performance of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" will be given, and in the evening a vandeville performance will be put on. The manager of the Kalamazoo opera house in a telegram to Manager Lisemer says this company is one of the best attraotions he has had this season. s The Prisoner of Zenda. Daniel Frohman sends us the announoement frum the Lyceum Theater, New York, that the oompany wbich is to appear at the Athens Theater, Tuesday, Nov. 23, to play, "The Prisoner of Zenda" is one which he bas seleoted and rehearsed with great care, and that he desires us to assnre theater-goers that they may expect an admirable perfoimanoe of Anthony Hope's faraons romantic drama, which Mr. Piohman regards as possessing the greatost love story of the 19th century. Like the "Two Orphans, " it wil! doubtless go on for many years. The company is a very large one, and carries all the scenery for the five important acts. "The Wrong Mr. Wrlght." Tbe appearauce of that prime favorite Mr. Roland Reed, at the Atbens Theater, is always a pleasant event in the theatrioal year. Mr. Reed has grown steadily in popular favor, and today stands pre-eminent as a portrayer of legitímate eccentrlc oomedy roles. Wednesday evening next he will begin bis annaal engagement at the Athens Theater, presenting for the flrst time a oomedy from the pen of Mr. George H. Broadhurst, with the title of "The Wrong Mr. Wrigbt." The play tells an interesting and highly amusing story and gives Mr. Reed splendid opportunitiös in a novel role. It is said to be the best charaoter this popular actor has ever had. The scènes of the play are laid at Old Point Comfort. Mr. Reed has surrounded himself with an exceedingly clevei company, which includes that charming actress. Miss Isadore Rush, who has been a deligbtful role that is really new to the stage. She will doubtless sarprise her many admirers with her charming toilets.
