Mrs. Katherin8 Flinn, of Bridgewater, died at her home in that town, Tnesday, Nov 2, at the advanced. age of 80 years.. Her funeral was held at St. Mary's church, Manchester, on Thursday, Nov. 4, and her son Barney Gorman, who had lived with her, attended the funeral, driving to the church with William Kirohgessner. On arriving at the chnrch he was apparently fast asieep and was left sittiug in the buggy. Mrs. Brighton attempted to awaken hira bat could not do so. Mr. Kirchgessner drove home after the servioes and wben he got there left Barney still sitting íd the bnggy, whicb had been drawn nnder a shed in rear of the sture. After dinuer John Wade went out to the buggy and found Gorman in a recliuing position and qoite dead. The canse of his death was apoplexy. Be was 50 years old, unmarried and was a hard drinker. Other than his deoeased ruotber he had no relatives living in that ' section of the county, althongh he was a weil kaown character.
