Nichols has been suffering since Satniday night last with a coru bined attack of grip and inflammation of the luDgs. He is somewhat improved at this time. James Burns, of Helena, Montana, wae the gnest of his brotber, John C. Barns, of this city, the early part of this week. Mr. Burns is a prominent stock raiser in that state. Mrs. J. H. Hyde, of Riverside, Cal., who bas been visiting here for some time, left Wednesday for Pfitrolia and Oil City, Ont., for a two weeks' visit, from where she will return to her home in Riverside. Alfred E. Mndge and daoghter, of New York, who havs been visiting lieir father and grandfather Prof. A. TenBrook for several weeks, have reurned home.
