Civil Service Exams

At the civil service examinations for carriers and clerks in the Ann Arbor post office held in June last theie were 16 persons examined, divided as follows: Five for oarriers, 8 for male clerks and 3 for fernale olerks. On Satnrday last, the day on wbich the civil service examinations were again held, tbe papers of the 16 wbo were examined in June were returned to Ann Arbor from Washington. They showed that only six out of the 16 bad passed. For carriers B. B. Johnson and J. B. Nickerson were successful; for male clerk Homer F. Frost and T. W. Mingay ; for femalo clerk, Eva A. Sturgis and Tberesa A. Grnbe. At the examination held Saturday there were eigbt applicants : For carrier 3, male clerk 4, female clerk 1. How many of tbem will pass?
