University hall was crowded Friday ■eveniug by the audience tbat had assembled to hear Ex-Gov. Bob Taylor, of Tenuessee, deJiver his famous leotnre on "The Fiddle and the JBow." It is safe to say that Dever before was such a lectura heard ia the old building and it only needed the ex-governor's historie fiddle and bow to make it a complete reproduotion of one of his oarapaign meetings. Apart from his excellent choice of langnage the very versatility of the man charmed the audieuce in spite of tbemselves. It was a lecture well calcnlated to make a person forget tbere was such a thing as care and it did. After the leotnre Gov. Taylor was banqueted by the Southern Club at the Cook house.
