Lake Ridge

A birthday party was given at the home of Mrs. Litohard last week Friday, it being her 76th birthday anniversary. Mrs. Lnella Whiting, wife of Roy Whiting, died Deo. 3 at 7 a. m., veiy enddenly. The funeral services were held at the house Deo. 15, and were largaly attended. Mrs. VVhiting's death is a peculiarly sad oocurrence. She was only 21 years of age and had been married abont two years. Her fatal illness lasted less than two days. The wedding of Miss Vena Montonye of this village, and Mr. Will Savercool, of Detroit, was celebrated Wednesday evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cyrns Montonye. Miss Lulu Westfall offloiated as bridesmaid and Mr. Fred Steidle as gioorasman. ünly the immediate farnily and a few relatives were piesent. After the ceremony a bountiful V9edding supper was served. The presents were raany, bandsome and useful, and were aooompanied by thfi best wishes of the donors for the young people's future happiness, in wtíioh the Argns correspondent heartily joins.
