A little girl whose father was dead and whose grandfather pursuedhe calling of shoemaking had often beeu told that she had a Heavenly Father who would care for her in the absence of an earthly father, and had got things someâ– what mixed in her sniall brain. Oneday the village sewiug society met at the house where she was staying, and gome of the good womea began talking about her, a "poor, fatherless child." She bore it for awhile, but flnally burst oat with: "I ain't either. I've got a Heavenly Father, and he's a shoemaker. " -
