Prominent Lawyer Dies Suddenly

Denver, Dec. 2S.- Judge Gilbert B. Beed. a prominent lawyer, died sud■denly of neuralgia of the heart. He was bom in Steuben county, N. T., ín 1S28, was a gradúate of the TJniversity of Michigan, and was admitted to the bar at Jackson, Mich., in 1850. He practiced his profession for a time in Illinois and had been a resident of Colorado since 1S60. He served as a member of the miners' court before the territory was organized. and was reently a member of the court of appeals. being succeeded by Adair Wilson last year.
