Charles Burtless was at JVIt. Pleasant visiting friends. Fred Kapp entertaíned a nurnber of his friends at bis home oíd year ere. The Á. O. U. W. has its installation of officers and a banquet Tuesday evening. Miss Marie Kirchbofer and brother Hngo spent Soiiday with Anu Arbor relativos. Mr. and Mrs. G. Van Every, of JackBon, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Blosser. Miss Bertha Lehn, who bas been at work in Detroit the past fonr rnonths, has retnrned home. School opened Monday with a very large attendance. There are 85 eurollod in the High School. Miss Edith Case who is teaching in Elgin, 111., spent New Year's with har parents Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Case. Mrs. Case and son, of Pittsfoid, have been visitinj: friends in town and atended the ServisSaley wedding. Dr. and Mrs. George Servis retnrned home from their wedding tour Tnesday and will begin honsekeeping in the house forraerly occupied by N. H. Wells.
