Sewer Case Finally Settled

The oase of the City of Ann Arbor vb. tbe Farmers and Mechanica Bauk et al. was finally settled id the circoit conrt Monday. The city paid the $3,200.67 it owed Collins and allowed $1,000 extra. The National Snrety Co., bondsmen for Collins, paid $4,663.45, and out of this fund the Farmers and Mecbanics Bank and the 14 other clairnants received 70 per ceut of tbeir claims. One or two claims whicb oame in late were allowed on a somewhat less percentage. Thas this mucb disputed case has been settled and probably in as inexpensive a way as was possible.
