Mrs. Heury Killilea, of Milwaukee, Wis., is visiting her iuotber Dr. S. M. Hrley, of E. William st. Mrs. W. G. Doty and her sister Mrs. L. M. Godflard, of Denver, Colo., went to j Manchester Friday to visit Mis. J. F. j Spafard. Mrs. Frauoes P. Edwards, of Detroit, was the gnest of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Baboóck on Thursday and Friday of last week. Mrs. Jobn Burg gave a reception to her lady friends froin 3 to 6 o'clock yesterday afternoon at her home on E. Jeö'erson st. W. R. Moss, law '99, will give a monologoe and impersonation entertainment at Saline this evening. He leaves toiaorrow for Tew York and the east on a trip of three inonths' duration. Laverne Bassett, of Detroit, forraerly of this city, accompanied by Mrs. Bassett, left for Texas Sunday night, wbere be bas been crdered as attorney for the National Loan Co., of Detroit. Mrs. Charles Kintner, who was called home on aoconnt of the illness of her aunt, Mrs. Sarah Vosenos. left Taesday for New York city acooinpanied by her mother, Mrs. Ann W. Pack. Mrs. W. Renle, of 829 W. Washington st,, was agreeably snrprised Toesday eveniug by some of her friends and neighbors, the occasion being her birthday. She received some very nice presenta. Trinity Lotheran chnroh, of Goshen, Ind., has extended a cali to Rev. C. E. Clessler, of Ann Arbor. Mr. Clessler is now temporarily located at Colnmbas, Ohio, bnt will begin his labors at Goshen before Maroh 1. Mrs. J. L. Baboock, vice regent of the Ann Arbor Chapter, Danghters of the American Revorotion, and Miss Eonice Al. Lambie, vice regent of the Ypsilanti chapter, attended the banqnet of the Detroit chapter at the Russell bouse, Detroit, on Satniday night. Oue hnudred and sixty covers were laid and it was a most elabórate affair.
