Sam T. Wheelei' and wife, of Pinckney, visited bis fatbei' Mouday. Miss Jessie Green and a frieud visited her parents in Green dak last Sun! day. Mrs. C. L. Thnrber and little snn visited her motber the torepart of the week. Mrs. M. Parsons has gone to Battle Creek to visit with relativos for a few weeks. Mr. Wheeler, sr., bas been qnite poorly of late and is still oonfined.to ihe honse. Henry Conly, Miss (Jrigg and Miss Hawkins attended a party in Chelsea Wednesday night. The Misses Hattie and Mary Stark attended the farmers' institure and were guests of Mrs. S. T. Wbeeler. Mr. Valentine's team and a load of ice went to the bottom of Independenoe Lake Tnesday. A cold water bath was the serious result. Fred Grayer bas bongbt one of the barns on the farm of the late R. M. Snyder and is preparing to move it on bis own premises. Mr. Daveuport bas the job. The C. E. society of the Congregational ühurob wil) give a pop corn so oial at the residence of W. C. Latson this (Priday) evening for the benefit of their pastor.
