The banquet and dedicatory exercisHS of a fine silk flag to the nses of Wolverine Tent, No. 77, K. O. T. M.. ïpsilanti, beid in Light Gnard hall, Thnrsday evening of last week were of a most anspioions charaoter. At the banquet 280 people sat down to the tablee and did ampie jnstice to the 'east. H. Wirt Newkirk, of Ann Arjor, was the toastmaster of the evening and introduced the several speakers in a very witty and entertaining mannei. Commander C. R. Lambert, of Ypailanti, gave the address of welcome. Miss Emtna E. Bower, of Ann Arbor, responded to the toast "Our Brothers." Frank Joslyn, of . Ypsilanti took the plaoe of D. D. Aitken.'of Flint, and spoke on "Onr Sisters. " Rev. B. F. Aldrioh spoke of "Onr Obligation," Prof. Anstin Qeorge on the dedioation of the flag, and Rev. Fr. Kennedy on "Fraternity. " The address of the evening was given by Snprerne Commander D. P. Markey, of Port Hurón. The toasts ware interspersed vsith mnsio whioh ■was furnisbed by the opera house orohestra, Miss Bealab Whitney, Miss Abba uwen, Miss Lida A. Carpenter, Wm, Brosky and Miss Dora Whitney.
