Miss Etnily Clapp, of Lanoaster, N. ï., is tbe guest of her sister, Mrs. T. J. Keeoh. Mrs. J. E. WeinniauD, of Brooklyu, N. Y., is visiting ber mother, Mrs. Wm. Canwell, of Chubb st. Master Fred Daley will sing at a concert for tbe beuefit of St. Panl's oburch, Flint, ou Friday evening next. Mis. Gfiorge Wahr and danghter Natbalie have gono to Omaha, Neb., for a few weeks' visit. From tbere they will go to Los Angeles, Cal., for tbe balauoe of the winter. A. E. Ransom, of Flashing, was a pleasaut caller at the Argus offioe Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Ransom is owner of the Flashing Observer and is ex-connty school comimssioner of Genesee county. He was on bis way home from a trip to Florida and was aocompanied by nis wife.
