Frauk Fay was arrestad Saturday night on complaint of bis wife. He was drnnk aud qnarrelsome and threateoed her life. Monday before Justioe Duffy be pleaded guilty and was sentanced to 10 days in jail. Tbe oase brongbt agaínst Walter MoGaire, of Bridgewater, by Anna Sruitb, of the same townsip, for bastardy, oame op for heariug in Justioe Daffy's oonrt, Tnesday. The defeudant was bound over for trial at the circnit oonrt. He gave bail for $500 for his appearanoe. A iuan named Job Kelly was obarged with vagranoy in Justice Daffy's court Wednesday and centenced to jail for 20 days. He had been limping around town begging, claiming that he had bad bis foot injnred in jumping off the railroad oars. On examination it was foand that his foot was all right. When arrestad he tried to escape froru pólice headquarters. Jobn Henry, a tramp, was jailed Monday nigbt for being diuuk and disorderly. When he was to be taken before Jastiue Pond Tnesday moining his pauts were fonnd to be in snob a torn condition thafc ha had to sew them np before he conld be taken on tbe street. Hu was given 10 days moro in jail.
