Daniel S. Millen, for over 40 years a resident of Add Albor, rlied at bis i home on Pontiao st, Northside, on Tuesday morniug aged 74 years. Mr. Mitlea was bom in Counecticut, but wbeu he was seven years old bieparents movod to Ballston, N. Y., and theDce to Albany. In 1839 Mr. Millen, then lfi years oíd, camo to Detroit; in 1840 he resided in Grand Rapids and then came tere. He was married in 1845 to Miss Levina Booth, of New York city. For 11 years he mannfactured hubs and spokes in Wisconsin, but when he returned to Ann Arbor he went into tbe soap making indostry, whiob be continued tbe balanoe of bis business life. His aon George S. Millen is a well kuown insurance agent in Detroit.
