Born, Friday Jan. 28, to Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hinokley, a wee girl. Sam Oiittenden, who has been serionely 111, is regaining his heaJth. Frank Rathfon, forinerly of this plaoe, bnt now of Detroit, veas married last week in that oity to Mies Jdary Webb, of Lima, N. Y. Mr. and .Mrs. Frank Siegel have saoved from Wm. Miller's honse into their new home on the town , line between Pittsfield and Yoik. Their rssideuo.e was ereoted by Mr. Siegel doring the last snmmer and f all. The box sooial given by the Y. P. S. C. E. of Garpenter's Corners at the home of Miss Ethel Wallaoe was not Tery largely attended on aooonnt of bad weather. Seven gentlemen and ladies being present whioh proved very benefiial to the yonng men as they wonld rather buy two boxes than see a younL lady eat alone from her box. Consequently many had more than their hare of snpper tbat evoning.
