F. H. Wlieeler made a business trip to Hamburg last Thursday. Mrs. Kane, of Northrield, visited Miss Kate Coyle one day recently. Mr. and Mrs. James Armstrong were pleasant callers at John Coyle's last Sunday. Rev. Mr. Fearce and wife, of Whitmore Lake, visited with C. L. Thurber last Friday. Robert Moore had the wood sawyers at his place the forepart of the week. Dorr Queal did the buzzing. Jay Pray, builder, of Whitmore Lake, built a porch on the school house, in district No. 6 last week. Charles Wheeler and family, spent Sunday with his brother, K. H. Wheeler, of Dexter township. Timothy Fohey had the tnisfortune to lose a valuable steer last week, and he now has a very sick horse. U. R. Lov took a picture of the mammofh ice house at Whitmore Lake recently, and has disposed'of over 30 copies of the picture up to date. Mrs. Laura Thurber entertained the M. E. Social Circle at a 5 o'clock tea, last Thursday afternoon. In spite of the inclemency of the weather there was a large number in attendance. Several new names were added to the list and all report a good time.
