A worried looking stranger stepped np to a crossiug policeman yesterday morning and said : "Will you kindly direct meto the Matthew, Mark, Luke and John railway depot?" ','Whafc?" The stranger repeated his request. "There isn't any such depot in this town, " replied the officer. "What are you giving me?" "That isn't the name of it, of conrse, " rejoined the other, "but it's something like it. My head's all tangled up this morning, and I can't get anything right. " A sudden thought strnck the policeman. "Do yoa mean the Big Four depot?" he asked. "That's it!" exclaimed the stranger delightedly. "I was sure I'd know it if I faeard it again. Where is it'-" Tbe officer started him in the right direotion and then went into a brown : study. At the end of half an honr he I emerged from it and said to himself in an audible voice: "I wonder if that gny wasn't having fun with rne. "-
