New York, Feb. 15. - Miss Frances E. Willard, president of the W. C. T. U., has been seriously ill in this city for the last three weeks. She is suffering from a severe attack of grip. Mrs. Stevens, vine president of the W. C. T. U., said: 'Miss Willard's condition is more favorable than it has been for the last three days, but her condition is still serious. She is suffering from a very severe attack of grip, but the doctors entertain hopes of her recovery. Miss Willard is not suffering from cancer of the stomach."
