Wilkesbarre, Pa., Feb. 22.- owing to the mass of business in court Judge Woodward decided there should be no holiday. "But," said he, "I deern it appropriate that we observe the day by hearing Washington's farewell address, and I have requested Mr. Scarlet to read it." There was a burst of applause at this announcement, and the reading was given oareful attention.
