Hoelzle have . ranged throngb Haury M. Wallace, of the law finu of Wallaoe & O'Leary, to : go with the "Klondibe, Ynkoa & ! per Ei ver Co. '" to Alaska in tbe spring. At a farmers' institnte held reoently at Owosso the opiuiou was expressed by one of the speakers that tbe students at the Uuiversity of Michigan are for tbe most part sous and dangbters of wealthy parents, tbe iruplication beiug that tbe cbildien of farmers have small share in tbe benefits of higher edocation. At the last offioial eanvass of the students it appjeared that the unmber of farmers' children at the aniversity was three times greater than the number of those belongiog to any other olass, being, in faot, abont one-tbirr] of tbe total.
