Grinnell Bros. sold a piano on the installment plan to Mrs. Brown, of Ypsilanti. When $109 had been paid on it the sheriff of Wasbtenaw county seized it on a jndgmeut agaiust Mr Brown. Lehman Bios. & Moriarity attomeys, were retained by Mrs Brown to bring snit againsttha sheriff. Jndgment was obtaiued by tberu for $413 and the money was dnly handed over to theiu. GriuneJl Bros. were left nut of the deal eutitely. Lehman Bros. & Moriarity said that their fees amonnted to $150 and that they had paid Mrs. Brown $6.3, so that only $200 of the jndgmeut remained.
