Silverton, B. C. March 1. - A snowslide occurred about 2 p. m. on the sleigh road to the Oomstock mine, four miles east of town. A messenger was sent to town, about 100 men turned out with shovels, and it was reported that three were buried. A. Southworth and J. H. Harvey were taken out with only slight injuries, but when the body of William Lade was discovered life was extinct.
