New York. Marcli 1. - State Assemblyman Weeks has intreduced a bilí permitting non-professional games and sports on Sunday after 1 o'clock in th aftérnoon in cilies of the flrst-class. No admission gato money is to he charged at any such games or sports. Mr. Weeks s;is hls bill is in the direction of greater liberality for the metropolis, and is practically intended to provide for baseball playing on Sunday. Should the bill pass the legislature it wóuld be a death-blow to the New York club as to its playing Sunday games at the polo grounds.
