Will Inspect Detroit Pavements

A meeting of the board of public works held Wednesday afternoou for the parpóse of conferring with the citizens' coruinittee and street committee of tbe oooncil on the subject of the paving of Main st. The matter was thoroughly discassed aud on motion of T. J. Keech it was resolved that Dr. W. B. Smith, president of the board, George L. Moore, chairman of the stieet committee, City Engineer Key, Fredariok Schnaid and City Clerk Mills go to Detroit at an early date and inspect the brick pavements of that city, tbeir railioad fares and hotel bilis to be paid by the city.
