Fridaynoon fonr colored girls uamed Maud Hurst, Cora Harris, Hattie Due and Marshal), all of Ypsilanti, entered the millinery store of Miss Mary Bell, on N. Main st., for the ostensible purpose of buying a hat. After talking betweeu tbemselves and with the young lady in the store for some timo they finally deoided tbey did not want to purebase one that day and went ont of the stare. But when they went out two bats valued at $7 went ont with them. On Wednesday Mand Huist and Cora Harris were arrested in Ypsilanti and bronght to Ann Arbor, and yeterday Hattie Due was brought over,onvarrantsissued by JusticePond. A friend of the girls oame np yesterday afternoon to settle the matter if possible, bnt was unsoccessfnl, and the girls had to stand trial. Cora Harris and Hattie Due were sentenced to 65 days iu the Detroit honse of oorrection, and Mand Hurst was disoharged. Marshal Sweet took the prisoners to Detroit last evening.
