Death Of Mrs. Seth Reed

Mrs. Harriet Reed, wife of Rrv. Seth Reed of the Detroit confereuoe M. E. obnrcb, died at tbe home of their daagbter Mrs. W. H. H. Cooper, in Gaylord Sanday afternoon. Tbe funeral services were beid in Conrt st. cbnrob in Flint, Tnesday afternou. Sbe carne to Michigan wbile it was yet a tenitory, in 1835, and for a number of yaars taugbt shcool in Oakland and Ionia connties. In 1840 she married Rev. Setb Reed. They have been stationed in Detroit, Port Hnron, Monroe, Romeo, Mt. Clemens, Ann Arbor, YpsilaLti. Flint. Owosso, Cornnna, Saginaw, Northville and other places. Her ohildren are: Mrs. Dr. Stowell, recently a member of the faonity of the nnivetsity ; Dr. W. F. Reed of Cbeboygan ; Mrs. W. H. H. Cooper of Gaylord, and E. R. Reed of Grand Rapids.
