Sheriff Jndson yesterday received 'rom a convict in the Jaokson prison a very handsome colleotion of trinkets.all of whioh were made by tbe mau in tbe prison and show a great degree of skill and patience. Tbe artioles are a Masonic obarm ent frorn some blaok stone, polished and inlaid with a mother of pearl like snbstanoe; a pair of link entt' jnttons of tbe latter material, also a pooket tootbpick in the sbape of a sandai] 1 crane, a nail cleaner and toothpick combined, a pen bolder, a buttoon iiook, a paper knife and book marker, and a paper knife made of vnlcanized rubber inlaid with tbe pearly substance. Heveral of tbe articles bave Mr. Judson's initials engraved on them. Does thia particular oonviot want to get a stand in with the sheriff when he gats to be warden of the prison?
