Robert Christman is very sick at his home on N. Ashley st. Mrs. L. J. Bidwell, of Tecumseh, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Adams, of S. Fourth ave. Mrs. Jacob Haas, of Lima, expects to take up her residence in Ann Arbor this spring. - Dexter Leader. J. F. White has recently moved to Salem to live witb a daughter there. Mr. White is now 77 years old. Mrs. Laviolette and Mrs. Bernadette Rousseau, of Detroit, have been the guests of B. St. James aud family. Mrs. J. T. Jacobs and daughter, Miss Clara, have gone to Chicago to spend a week or ten days with friends. Miss Ida Montonye, who has been ;eacbing school at Lake Ridge, bas gone ;o Decatnr, vvhere sbe has seonred a sitaation. Mr. and Mrs. E. K. Frueauff are again oocopying their own home on W. Hnroc ts., having arrived frorn Owosso Friday last. Miss Edith Huddy has gone to Chicago to aocept a position with a wholeale house in tbat city as stenographer and typewriter. Nelson Bradley, of Lansiiig, was in üe oity yesterday attending the funeral of nis niotber Mrs. Margaret Bradley, f Ann Arbor town. Eli W. Moore, of the Ann Arbor Agioultnral Co., has gone to Pittsborg, Pa. From there be will go to Philadelphia and New York city. Mra. Todd aad daughter Miss Hattie Todd, who have been residing in Ann Arbor for some time, bave gone back o their old home in Webster to live. Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Hall left Monday or Knoxville, Tenn. From there they will go to Ashville. N. C. and St. Aognstine, Jb'la., on an estended pinasre trin. Miss Clara Allmendinger, of N. Pocrth ave., gave a "hard times" party to ahout 30 of ber friends last Priday night. A very eDJoyable evening was epeut. Misa Mary Bell retornad Friday from a week's stay in Cleveland, O., where sbe bad been bnying millinery and getting spring styles. She will go to Toledo next week for a few days on a like mission. Mrs. J. L. Babcock has returned home from Washington, D. C, and 'New Haven, Conn., after four weeks' absenoe. She attended the annual cougress of the Oaagbters of the American Revolation held at Washington. Evart H. Scott writes from Catalinla sland, Los Angeles county, Cal., nnder date of Marob 5, tbat he is baving a grand time in that beautiful place. Dr. and Mrs. J. N. Martin are there and the dootor is very ranch improved in bealth. - -Courier.
