At the general sssion of tbè Schoolmaaters' Clob at Ann Arbor, on Friday morning, April 1, Mr. George B. Aitou, State Inspector of High Schools for Minnesota, will speak upon "Principies Underlying the Making of Conrses for Seoondary Schools." At the general session on Satnrday morning, Apiil 2, Principal Harria, of Bay City, will speak npon "High Sohool Management," Principal Warriner, of Saginaw, and Principal Wbitten, of Detroit, will speak npon tbe "Funotion of the Schoolmasters' Club." Following is the program of tbe special sessions in mathematica, history, modern langnages and Englisb : Mathematica! Section - "Aocuracy in High School Mathematics: How Best Attained?" Miss Annie V. Hedrick (Jak Park, UI., High School; "The iDfinitive in Mathematcis," Prof. Ziwet, University of Michigan: "Triseotious of Triangles, " Prof. Benuer, Albion College; "Alathematics in German Secondary Schools," Prof. Markley, University of Michigan; "Elementary Algebra in the Grammar School," Prof. Smitb, Ypsilanti Normal School. Historical Sectinn - "Use of Secondary and Original Material Collateral ■with Text-liooks, " Miss Julia King, Ypsilanti Normal School; "Work of the Committee of the Historical Assooiation," Prof. McLaagblin, University of Michigan. Modern Langaage Conference - "Fonr Years of Germán in tbe High School," Supt. Whitney, of Saginaw; general disccssion of qnastions of teaching modern languages in tbe high sohool. Englisb Conference - General disoussion of qnestions relating to the teaobing of English language and lireralure.
