Mr. and Miss Coyle entertained Wjd Walsb, of Ann Arbor Toesday of thb week. C. M. Stark and danghter AlaiT made a business trip to Ann Arbo Wednesday. Miss MabeJ Miller, of Dexter, w8s a gnest of her annt Mrs. Harvey Freese over Sunday. Mrs. Jos. Todd was oalled to Ana Arbor tbis week by tbe serious illnesss of her sister Mrs. George Lake. Mts. Perry, Mis. Lapp and daoghter Flossie, of Anu Arbor, have beeis goests of Mrs. Chas. C. Wheeler this week. A large oirole of friends gathered at the residenoe of Mr. and Mrs. C. Wheeler Tnesday, to help thern celébrate their orystal wedding anniversary About 40 in all were present inoluding several from Ann Arbor. Numeróos bandsome presents were reoeived by Mr and Mrs. Wheeler as mementos of tfaV oooasion. Died at bis home in Webster, Friday March 25, John C. Wheeler, after á liugeriug illness of many munths. Mr Wheeler came to this town, with bis parents, when a boy and settled on the farm which he owned at the time of bis death. Five sons are left to monrn his loss, nis wife having preoeded hins to the better world some three years ago. Fnneral servioes were held at the family residenoe last Sunday, conducted by Rev. F. E. Pearce.
