Miss Victoria Fohey closed a veiy successful fíve montbs' term of school in distiict No. 6 last Satutday. O. A. Kenney, who has been in California the past two ruontbs, bas returned to his home in Webster. Mrs. A. R. Lowe entertained her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Green, of Green Oak, last Satarday. Miss Chamherlain bas retnrned to her home in Battle Creek after spending tbe winter vvith relatives iu this vioinity. Messrs. Tboruas and Lewis gave an "Illnstrated song service," in the Conpregational oburch, Monday evening, wbioh wan higbly spoken of. Miss H. Auna Qninby, of Edenton, Ohio, and Miss Alioe Nasb, of Detroit, will give a recital in tbe M. E. churob Priday eveniug ntjxt, April 15, As these ladies are highly spoken of as elo cntionists tbe people of this vicinity may expeet a tieat. Tbe ttird qnarterly meeting servioe will be held in tbe Methodist ohnrch next Sunday, April 10. Love feast at 9:30 a. ia., followed by preaching by Dr. E. W. Ryan, of Ypsilanti. After the sermón Dr. Ryan aud the pastor, Rev. Pearoe, will adrninister tne sacrament of the Lord's Supper.
